Context

Present at around twenty sites with more than 600 employees, Anderlaine is leading a profound transformation of its IT department: moving from a traditional model to a transformational IT department driving digital, data, and AI for business lines.

In this context, the need for a unified and governed repository became central to document the application portfolio, ensure the reliability of inter-system flows, strengthen GDPR compliance, and provide critical visibility on dependencies, costs, and risks.

The project is part of a broader IT governance approach aimed at building a data-driven vision of the information system and accelerating decision-making.

Problem

Before Kabeen, IS mapping relied on static tools (Visio, shared files) that no longer reflected the reality on the ground. The IT department had to deal with fragmented information that slowed down initiatives:

• Obsolete or partial diagrams, poorly shared between teams.
• Information scattered between IT, business lines, and providers.
• Major difficulties in visualizing interconnections and linking application data to contractual and GDPR data.

Auto-discovery accelerated the inventory and documentation of applications. Relationships between systems are now visualized intuitively for all profiles.

Data for each application is consolidated and documented, creating a living map that is fed as projects progress.
